The Iberville High School Classes of 1940-1969 held their fifth class Roundup on July 12-14 at the Carl F. Grant Civic Center in Plaquemine with more than 500 people attending.

The classes of 1943, 1953 and 1963 celebrated 70 years, 60 years and 50 years respectively.

Irvin Porter from Sunshine, the only surviving member of the class of 1940 was in attendance.

Members came from Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, California, Florida, Georgia, New York, Maryland, Tennessee, Washington, Colorado, Indiana, Michigan, Virginia and Illinois.

The chairpersons for the Roundup were Elouise Kelly, Class of '63 and Yvonne Johnson Schofield, Class of '69.
