BATON ROUGE - The LSU Tiger Marching Band, Golden Girls and Colorguard have entertained millions of LSU fans as they perform before, during and after football games at Tiger Stadium, as well as other special events locally, nationally and abroad.

LSU fans will once again have a chance to witness one of those special events, as the Tiger Band will present this year's annual Tigerama concert at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center on Tuesday, Oct. 29.

For more than 30 years, Tigerama has served a special concert event held to celebrate not only the current LSU Tiger football season, but also highlight the many talented musical and performance ensembles that are part of the LSU School of Music's Department of Bands.

In addition to the evening Tigerama performance, there will also be a special 9:30 a.m. daytime performance for area schoolchildren, also in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. Tickets for this performance are $10 each, and include a meet-and-greet session with Tiger Band, Golden Girls and Colorguard members following the performance.

Doors for the evening Tigerama event will open at 5 p.m., and dress for the event is tailgate attire.

The event includes performances by the LSU Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Winds and Tiger Band, featuring the Golden Girls and Colorguard, as well as the LSU Cheerleaders.

General admission tickets for Tigerama are $20 each and $10 for students and are available online through www.lsutigerama.com or by calling 800-960-TKTS.
