WHITE CASTLE - "A successful tomorrow begins with a solid foundation of education today!"

Next Generation is an organization that culminates faith, family, community, and education. All of these factors play a vital role in building character, support, and a desire to succeed.

Next Generation believes in a winning mentality, by striving for the best without excuses and never contemplating quitting. The organization is ran by a group of volunteers that encompass current and retired certified teachers, along with cafeteria workers, student and parent volunteers and ministerial backing.

A day inside the Next Generation camp leave no area untouched, whether it's science, history, mathematics, English, health, or arts. You can find it daily.

Students are constantly drilled in every subject through oral presentations, class assignments, experiments, and interaction on the chalkboard.

The kids education is always put first and there is never a moment when learning isn't taking place. The students are rewarded for their hard-work by planned field trips, snacks and a field day.

The program always closes with the shinning stars, the students, displaying their talents and work produced during the four-week program.

Each year Next Generation sees constant growth in character, education, and self-discipline, keys that are essential to creating a successful human being. There is no limit to what can be accomplished when a vision is put forward, supported by the community, and commitment from students and staff the unthinkable could happen.

We are grateful to Mayor Gerald Williams for being the visionary of this project and recognizing the need in our community.

Also, thanks to Dr. Alvin Watts, III, Our Lady of Prompt Succor School, Father Joey, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity in Plaquemine and all those that gave selfishly to the program.
