When the Knights of Columbus in White Castle dissolved a few years ago, leftover funds were used to erect a new fence at St. Raphael Cemetery in Point Pleasant. “It is a part of Our Lady of Prompt Succor,” said former member John Desselles. “We are in charge of that cemetery.” The new fence was completed earlier this summer and Desselles said there are plans to refurbish the tomb of Gov. Paul Octave Hebert in the cemetery in the future.
