BATON ROUGE - Burger King restaurants throughout the state of Louisiana are recognizing 120 years of LSU Football with the BK Tiger Double Cheeseburger.

Baton Rouge-area restaurants are among 135 Burger King locations in five major markets statewide offering the promotion.

Tiger fans can request the burger by name to receive a discounted price of $1.20 through the end of November.

“As a proud sponsor of LSU Football, we enjoy being a place where celebrating fans can gather and are excited to launch this special offer,” said Myrna Schultz, Vice President of Marketing & Development for Strategic Restaurants Acquisition Company.

The BK Tiger Double Cheeseburger features two signature fire-grilled beef patties topped with melted American cheese, crinkle cut pickles, yellow mustard and ketchup on a toasted sesame seed bun.

Other participating locations include Burger King restaurants in New Orleans, Lafayette, Lake Charles and Monroe.
