Iberville Parish Grand Jury indicts three

PLAQUEMINE - District Attorney Richard J. Ward, Jr. reports the return on the Iberville Parish Grand Jury Investigation Sept. 5.

The Grand Jury of the Parish of Iberville, State of Louisiana, duly impaneled by Judge Alvin Batiste, investigated three cases and found three true bill of indictments, zero no true bill of

indictments and two pretermitted bill of indictments on the following:

- Darrel W. Camper, 56, 58120 George Street, Plaquemine, arrested June 3, 2013. The Grand Jury returned a true bill of indictment on the charges of unauthorized Entry of an inhabited dwelling and violation of a protective order. Also was a return of a pretermitted bill of indictment on the charge of simple rape.

- Michael R. Williams, 32, 23480 Gauthier Street, Plaquemine, arrested July 1, 2013. The Grand Jury returned a true bill of indictment on the charges of molestation of a juvenile, attempted aggravated rape and sexual battery.

- Brian E. Williams, 23, 33541 Boudreaux Street, White Castle, arrested July 11, 2013. The Grand Jury returned a pretermitted bill of indictment on the charges of aggravated rape and second degree kidnapping. The District Attorney’s office will represent this case on Oct. 10, 2013.
