Patrol officers make multiple arrests for drug possession

PLAQUEMINE - The Iberville Parish Sheriff's Office and L.E.A.D Task Force made multiple arrests for drug possession recently while on patrol, according to Sheriff Brett Stassi and Plaquemine Police Chief Orian Gulotta.

On Sept. 13, officers arrived at 33220 B Leona St., White Castle to execute a search warrant at the residence of Terrance Coleman.

As agents pulled into the driveway, Coleman fled in a vehicle.

Agents pursued Coleman and observed him discard two bags of marijuana from his vehicle.

Coleman, 31, was subsequently stopped and placed under arrest for possession with intent to distribute marijuana and aggravated flight from an officer.

Also, while on patrol in Seymourville, the following suspects were arrested for possession with intent to distribute synthetic marijuana.

- Malik Jones, 24, 58111 Barrow St., White Castle

- Robert Greene, 21, 58111 Barrow St., White Castle

- Jonathan Cain, 21, 58111 Barrow St., White Castle

All three were previously arrested in April for the same charge.

Also, while on patrol in Plaquemine, Jodi Corbin, 39, 516 S. River Road, Port Allen, was arrested for possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession with intent to distribute schedule 3 narcotics.
