BATON ROUGE - Louisiana Workforce Commission employees who qualify will receive 4 percent merit pay raises effective Oct. 1, the agency announced today.
LWC's staff has not received merit raises since Fiscal Year 2009-2010.
"The incredible work and strong stewardship of the agency's funds by our staff are the reasons we're able to award merit increases this year to all who are eligible," LWC Executive Director Curt Eysink said. "Our staff continues to improve our agency and the services we provide to Louisiana's employers and job seekers."
LWC employees have made sweeping changes that have improved Louisiana's business climate and are helping to create more opportunities for employers and job seekers.
