Iberville Consortium offering adult education computer classes

PLAQUEMINE – Iberville Consortium coordinator Janet Tassin announces that free beginning computer classes for adults will be offered every Monday and Wednesday on the third floor at 58060 Plaquemine St.

Along with the beginning computer skills, GED/high school equivalency diploma preparation is also offered.

Session 1 is from Oct. 21-Nov. 15 and Session 2 lasts from Nov. 18-Dec. 20.

Introduction to computers is from 8 – 9:30 a.m. and includes computer basics, flash drives, copy/paste and desktop icons.

Introduction to the internet is from 10 – 11:30 a.m. and includes WAN, search engines and free email accounts.

Instructors and materials are being paid for with WorkReady U Adult Education funding awarded to Iberville Parish.
