Layman selected to Northwestern State Honor Court

NATCHITOCHES - Alayni Guidry of Duson and Cody Waagner of Kennerdell, Penn., were selected queen and king of the 2013 Homecoming Honor Court at Northwestern State University.

Guidry and Waagner are part of a 22-member honor court, which will participate in activities during homecoming week at Northwestern State and be presented at halftime of the homecoming game against Southeastern Louisiana University on Saturday, Oct. 19.

The court also includes Taylor Layman of St. Gabriel.

Layman is a junior liberal arts major with a minor in communications in the Louisiana Scholars' College.

She is the daughter of Brian and Lori Layman.

A member of Phi Mu Fraternity, she is captain of the Purple Pizazz Pom Pon Line and was a freshman orientation leader.

Layman is a member of Alpha Lambda Delta, the Student Alumni Association, Demon Volunteers in Progress and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
