Louisiana Workforce Commission hosts bi-annual job fair Oct. 22

BATON ROUGE – For the 10th year in a row, the Louisiana Workforce Commission will co-host its bi-annual job fair to connect military veterans and other job seekers with area employers on Tuesday, Oct. 22 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel located at 4728 Constitution Ave.

The event is reserved for veterans and their spouses from 9 – 11 a.m. The general public is invited from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

More than 60 employers are set to participate including Bollinger Shipyards, Cintas Corp, L'Auberge Baton Rouge, Cox Communications, Troops to Teachers, Associated Grocers, SGS Petroleum Service Corp. and CarMax Auto Superstores Inc.

The event is free for job seekers and employers.
