LHSAA releases mobile phone application

BATON ROUGE - The Louisiana High School Athletic Association has released a free, mobile Smartphone application - or "app."

The LHSAA app presented by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana is free and now available for download through the App Store in Apple's iTunes or on your mobile Apple device.

It features game scores and locations complete with directions, schedules and other pertinent school information for its LHSAA member schools in the sports of football, volleyball, boys' and girls' basketball, softball and baseball.

The LHSAA app includes only scores and schedules from football, volleyball, boys' and girls' basketball, softball and baseball because it mandates regular season information gathering due to power rankings in these sports.
