Painted pink pumpkin fundraiser benefits Breast Cancer Awareness

Judy O'Bear, top, of the Iberville Parish Assessor's Office, along with the Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center is offering painted pink pumpkins for the first-time ever in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in Iberville Parish. To order or purchase, a donation of $5 or more is being asked. The pumpkins were crafted by Patty Stevens and Gail Salvadras and include a pink ribbon stamped by a symbol.
