FOUNDATION GOLF MEET
Local Education Foundation Golf Tournament’s 16th annual event will be held April 4 at The Island Golf Club in Plaquemine.
The tourney will benefit the annual fundraising for the Iberville Foundation for Academic Excellence, which includes mini-grants. The event is a combined effort as Iberville’s foundation is joining with the West Baton Rouge Foundation in an effort to reduce costs.
Morning and afternoon golf sessions will be held if the maximum number of teams is exceed and registration times will be adjusted. If only one session will be held, registration and lunch will be at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start at noon.
Sponsors are being sought for 4-man scramble teams, hole sponsorship, and corporate sponsorship.
Prizes will be awarded for top place on net and gross score. There will be a longest drive and closest to pin contests.
