FRIENDS OF LOCK MEMBERSHIP SOUGHT

Friends of the Lock organization is recruiting community volunteers to serve as tour guides at the Plaquemine Lock State Historic Site.

The newly organized group also is seeking supporters of the lock who do not have time to volunteer during the week.

Membership is open to anyone who pays the annual membership fee and who supports the group in its efforts to promote the historic site.
