McGlothren, Oubre wedding held Feb. 1

Brittany Emma Oubre and Jacob Christopher McGlothren, both of Baton Rouge, were married during a 7 p.m. wedding ceremony Feb. 1 at White Oak Plantation in Baton Rouge.

Rev. Todd Doctor served as minister and James Ramirez was organist.

The bride was given in marriage by her mother.

She is the daughter of Janice Ramirez of Baton Rouge and the late Erwin Oubre and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Yves Ramirez of Plaquemine.

The groom is the son of Mary Gutchess and Jimmie McGlothren, both of Baton Rouge, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gutchess of New York, Mrs. Melba McGlothren of Baton Rouge, the late Mr. Clarence McGlothren of Baton Rouge and the late Mrs. Audrey Gutchess of Groton, New York.

Maid of honor was Ta’Chelle Herbert and matron of honor was Heather Diaz. Bridesmaids were Randi Hall, Nicole Pilley, Amanda Lambert and Brittany Townsend. Junior maids included Kyla Kember, Brianna Penton, Ellie Ramirez and Claire Ramirez and flower girl was Olivia Diaz.

Best man was Austen Townsend. Groomsmen were Brandon McKenzie, Bryan McGlothren, Korey Kember, Andrew Seal and T.J. Price. Junior groomsmen included Cooper Pinsonat, Turner Pinsonat, Kane Kember and Kohen Kember. Darren Ramirez served as usher and Wyatt Diaz was the ring bearer.

A reception was held at White Oak Plantation and following a Caribbean cruise wedding trip the couple will reside in Baton Rouge.
