Lognion, Wintz to marry Aug. 31

John and Bebe Wintz of Plaquemine announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Ann Wintz to Christopher John Lognion, son of David and Becky Lognion of Lake Charles.

The couple will exchange vows during a 2 p.m. ceremony Saturday, August 31 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Plaquemine.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Daisy H. Wintz and the late John A. Wintz Jr. and Joseph and Mary Cazes. She is a 2003 graduate of St. John the Evangelist High School in Plaquemine and attended Nicholls State University. She is employed by CSE Federal Credit Union as a MSR.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Lloyd Paul Dubois and Mary Rose Dubois and Margorie Lognion Dartez and the late Jeff Lognion and Pressley Dartez. He is a graduate of Parkview High School in Sulphur and Sowela Technical Community College with a degree in auto technology. He is employed by Autoplex 2000 as an auto technician.
