George and Nettie Michel celebrate 50th Wedding Anniversary

George and Nettie Daigle Michel celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary June 9, 2013 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Plaquemine with many close family and friends.

In attendance were the honorees' children, Kim Michel Langlois and husband Ken of Plaquemine and Tara Michel Waguespack and husband Paul of Prairieville and grandchildren Kenli and Koby Langlois, and Alexus and Amber Waguespack.

Nettie Michel's mother, Edith Guillot, and stepmother, Elnora Daigle, and brothers and sister, Genell Daigle Louis and husband Russell, Barry Daigle and Belinda, Kirk and Amanda Daigle attended the celebration.

George Michel's brother and sister, Lonnie and Cindy Michel and Patsy Michel Thomas and husband Dave also attended.

The Michel's were married June 9, 1963 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Plaquemine.
