Ashford, Borruano wedding held Aug. 3

Alise Borruano of Plaquemine and Darrell Ashford, Jr. of Central were married during a 1 p.m. wedding ceremony Aug. 3, 2013 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Plaquemine.
Father Gregory Daigle served as minister.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Susie and Mr. Angelo Borruano, Jr. of Plaquemine. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Merle and Mr. Angelo Borruano, Sr. of Brusly, the late Mrs. Dorothy Clement Borruano of Brusly and the late Mrs. Angelina and Mr. Joseph Palazzo of Plaquemine.
The groom is the son of Mrs. Darlene and Mr. Darrell Ashford, Sr. of Central. He is the grandson of Ms. Syble Ashford of Central, the late Mr. Harold Jean Ashford of Central and Mr. Silas Romero, Jr. of Central.
Maid of Honor was Megan Borruano. Bridesmaids were Chantel Distefano, Jamie Bond, Meghan Lanahan and Danielle Delahaye. Best Man was Jordan Ashford. Groomsmen were Dylan Borruano, Wade Ashford, Jacob Mounce and Clint Nauta.
Ushers were Blane Palazzo and Blake Linxwiler.
Readers were Blane Palazzo and Clint Nauta.
A reception was held at the Addis Community Center.
After a wedding-trip cruise to Belize, Honduras and Mexico, the couple will reside in Denham Springs.
