Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Ourso earn Yard of the Month honors from Garden Club

The home of Jelina  and Parish President J. Mitchell Ourso at 59635 Thomas Ross Dr. at Cypress Landing  in the Island Country Club was chosen by Angelic Hebert of the Plaqueming Garden Club as the Garden of the Month for October  2017.  Their beautifully manicured yard featured an authentic sugar kettle filled with Vinca and a cigar plant.  The landscaped flowerbeds were filled with Amaryllis, Yucca plants, azaleas, variegated Hibiscus, dwarf Loropetalum and dotted with boxwood hedges.  On the front stoop is a large potted Asparagus Fern, which is decades old, given to the couple by the late Eula Mae Ourso, Mr. Ourso's mother. This yard is a must see.
