One shooting victim dies; gunman still on loose

One of the two victims of a shooting in North Plaquemine Thursday afternoon died this morning, while the alleged gunman remained at large as of noon, according to the Iberville Parish Sheriff's Office.

Authorities from the Iberville Parish Sheriff's Office the whereabouts of Isaiah "Ikky"  Lee, 29, who is believed to have shot two people in broad daylight on West Homestead Drive, a neighborhood near the outskirts of Plaquemine.

He could face charges of first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder once he is captured, according to authorites.

Authorities have not yet released the name of the victim who died from the gunshot wounds.

The other victim -- who also has not yet been identified -- remains in serious condition. Both victims were brought to Baton Rouge Medical Center-Mid City.
