UPDATE: Accused gunman now in custody

The Plaquemine man accused of killing one person and injuring another in ashootout Thursday in North Plaquemine turned himself over to authorities Monday.

Isaiah "Ikky"  Lee, 29, who is believed to have shot two people in broad daylight on West Homestead Drive, a neighborhood near the outskirts of Plaquemine.

He could face charges of first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder once he is captured, according to authorities.

Authorities have not yet released the name of the victim who died from the gunshot wounds.

The other victim -- who also has not yet been identified -- remains in serious condition. Both victims were brought to Baton Rouge Medical Center-Mid City.
