Former East Iberville High football standout Larondric Johnson was booked on first-degree murder, armed robbery, and illegal use of a weapon Thursday night in Baton Rouge.

Johnson, who played linebacker and offensive lineman for the EI Tigers three and four years ago, was accused of killing Wesley Johnson of Bard Ave., in Baton Rouge, Oct. 15 during a robbery at the victim’s home.

Johnson already was in the EBR Parish prison on unrelated counts when he was booked for the week old murder charge.

Johnson was touted as the top player on struggling EIHS football teams his junior and senior seasons. He also played basketball for the parish high school.
