Relay for Life set for Friday

Iberville Parish is holding a birthday party, and the public is invited to attend.

“Birthday Party” is the official theme for the 13th annual Iberville Parish Relay For Life.

The event will be held from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. at COPAC in Plaquemine.

Attractions will include food, fun, music and games, as well as a petting zoo, a Rock wall, laser tag and other popular activities for youngsters.

The event will also feature a “Dude Looks Like a Lady” Contest, and a “American Idol” contest

Honorary chairman this year is Iberville Parish J. Mitchell Ourso.

Honorary Surivirors this year will be Ethel Bourgoyne and Christy LeBlanc.
