Annual St. Jude Car Show set Saturday at Waterfront Park

St. Jude’s annual Car Show is set for Saturday at the Bayou Plaquemine Waterfront Park from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This will be the 12th annual event to be staged in Plaquemine to support the efforts of St. Jude Children Research Hospital. The event is being sponsored by the Baton Rouge Corvette Club and the Plaquemine Main Street Program.

This year’s event will be more than a car show. Included will be trucks and motorcycles on display in addition to automobiles.

The sponsors are calling this year’s event a “Labor of Love”.

There will be a live auction and raffle as part of the event as well as barbeque chicken dinners, a sweet shop, and other food and refreshments.
