Mother, son die in early morning fire

An investigation is underway on the cause of an early morning fire today (Tuesday) that killed a mother and son in Grosse Tete.

The fire that destroyed the home in the 77000 block of Garner Lane near Locust Street killed an 84-year-old lady and her 69-year-old son.

The names have not yet been released.
