BETTER LATE THAN NEVER ... Gray Monkey Parade rolls through Plaquemine

The annual Gray Monkey Parade, delayed due to unexpected snow in the area during the winter, was held in all its glory last week through Plaquemine.

In the photo at left, members of the Iberville Parish Library, who sponsor the children’s parade each year, take a snapshot by the lead float, upon which the Gray Monkey rides the route.

In the middle photo, a young parade participant supports Iberville’s anti-litter program, while in the right photo, a popular subject around the state is still being beloved...The NFL Champion New Orleans Saints!
