I-10 bridge closed early Sunday

The I-10 Mississippi River bridge will be closed to traffic from 1 a.m. to 8 a.m. Sunday to allow crews to hang overhead sign trusses as part of an ongoing sign replacement program.

The state Department of Transportation and Development said the total closure is necessary for worker safety.
