LSU offers free business seminars here in November

LSU will bring its mobile classroom to the Iberville Chamber of Commerce Offices to offer free business education seminars on November 16-17, the Chamber announced Monday.

Seminars scheduled for Tuesday, November 16, include starting and financing a business, marketing essentials, working with a bank to get a loan and trends in rural retail trade.

Those on Wednesday, November 17, are customer service, e-commerce and social media, building a sustainable rural economy and business retention.

The project is a partnership of the Secretary of State, the U. S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development, Louisiana Economic Development, the Louisiana Public Facilities Authority, the Louisiana Municipal Association, Capital One, the Louisiana Business & Technology Center, the LSU AgCenter and the Louisiana Small Business Development Center Network.

Participants can sign up for seminars on one or both days. Because of limited seating, pre-registration is required.
