Two events set for November at Iberville Museum
Iberville Museum will be holding two special events this month.
A free exhibit will be held Saturday, Nov. 13, as part of the “Art in the City” Main Street Program. Gene Seneca, a local artisan and photographer, will be at the museum displaying his latest creations out of old cypress wood along with his photography of the Atchafalaya.
Then, Saturday, Nov. 20, the museum will host a jewelry workshop featuring local artisan Sissy Irwin of Plaquemine.Those who attend will learn to make a beaded “Victorian Lace” bracelet and matching earrings.
The workshop is for ages 15 years and up. Cost will be $45, which includes the cost of materials. Due to limited class size, pre-registration is required and deadline to do so is Saturday, Nov. 13.
