Local Mardi Gras parade rolls Saturday

Plaquemine's Mardi Gras Parade rolls at 2 p.m. Saturday starting at Greater St. Mary's Baptist Church on W. W. Harleaux Street for a wide loop through the city and Seymourville.
Parade line-up starts at 1 p.m. at the church, said District 6 Selectman Jimmie Randle Jr., who sponsors the parade with district 2 Selectman Oscar Mellion.
The parade will move from Harleaux and Captain T. T. Harris to Railroad Avenue, Barrow Street in Seymourville, Hebert, Canal and Marshall Streets to an end on Iron Farm Road.
