Baton Rouge woman loses race with train

The Plaquemine Police ticketed a Baton Rouge woman Friday night after a train she tried to outrun clipped the back of her car at the Intersection of Main Street and Railroad Avenue, according Capt. Steve Bezet.
Shlolinda Green, 29, of 57397 Byron Street, and her two passengers, girls ages 13 and 14, were taken to Baton Rouge General Hospital-Midcity as a precaution, Bezet said, though none of them appeared to be seriously injured.
Green was ticketed with disregarding a traffic control – the flashing lights at the crossing-- as well as with driving under suspension and no proof of insurance.
