Plaq. firm opens apartment complex in Livingston Parish

Staff reports

A group of land developers that includes three Plaquemine residents officially opened their new Village at Juban Lakes apartment complex in Livingston parish at a public ceremony last Thursday.

CST Land Developers, LLC, whose principal members include attorneys Tom Delahaye, Chris Coffin and Stan Baudin of Plaquemine, opened the 144-unit luxury apartment complex at 11000 Buddy Ellis Road, about a mile from the Juban Road exit on Interstate 12, southeast of Denham Springs.

This is the third apartment development completed by CST Land Developers.

The up-scale, gated complex features residential floor plans with one, two and three bedrooms.  Amenities in each unit include stainless steel appliances, private patios or balconies, washer and dryer connections, fireplaces, garden tubs and walk-in closets.

The Village at Juban Lake’s $13 million, nine-acre campus also features a large swimming pool, volleyball and basketball courts, a dog park, a fully-equipped fitness center, a club house with a business center and full kitchen, and walking trails.

The facility is modeled after The Reserve at Jefferson Crossing, which CST Land Developers, LLC, opened at 17232 Jefferson Highway in East Baton Rouge Parish last year.  The developers also completed The Crossing Apartments on Buddy Ellis Road in 2009.
