White Castle High School graduation. The School Board last week approved White Castle's application to move its ceremonies up a day.

Friday, May 20

Graduation ceremonies and final exams at Plaquemine and East Iberville high schools.

Saturday, May 21

Iberville Parish Rabies Vaccination Clinic, 1-2 p.m. at St. Gabriel Grocery and 2:14-4 p.m. at the St. Gabriel Fire Station on La. 30. Rabies vaccinations, required annually for all pets over three months of age, are being offered at a cost of $5 to $10 each. Further information is available from Iberville Parish Animal Control at 687-5881.

Duathalon, Healthy Habits vendors and Boogie on the Bayou, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 5-9 p.m., Bayou Plaquemine Waterfront Park. We Are the Difference is sponsoring a run and biking event in downtown Plaquemine starting at 9 a.m., vendors offering healthy lifestyle choices starting at 10 a.m., deejay music from 2-4 p.m. and karaoke from 5-9 p.m.

Tuesday, May 24

Iberville Parish Council special meeting to introduce   proposed reapportionment ordinance, 6 p.m., Council Chambers, second floor of the Courthouse. The council hopes to adopt the plan at a special meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 7.

Final day of school for students in the Iberville Parish School System.
