Summer school program slated at WCHS

The Iberville Parish School Board is offering summer school for students who failed one or two subjects during the regular school year starting June 6 at White Castle High School.

Registration scheduled for 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. May 31 and June 1-3 at WCHS.

Students in grades 7-12 can sign up for up to two units of English, math, science and social studies classes, and for electives based on demand, with written permission from their principals.

For grades seven and eight, the cost of summer school is $200 per course for in-parish students, and $225 per course for out-of-parish students.

For grades 9-12, the cost is $100 for a half unit for in-parish students and $125 for out-of-parish students, or $200   and $225, respectively, for a full unit.
