OBITUARY: Wanda M. "Sissy" Ray

Plaquemine Homemaker Wanda M. “Sissy” Ray passed away Sunday, July 3, at the age of 38.

Visitation will be today (Thursday, July 7) from 10 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. Donald Ray, at the Victory Baptist Church of Plaquemine.

She is survived by her father, Lonnie and wife Vergie Ray; one daughter, Kassie Layne Ray; two sons, Kenneth Shane and Kodey Wayne Ray; two sisters, Tammy Hernamdez and Candy Poche; and one brother Kenneth Wayne Ray; and numerous other family and friends.

Preceded in death by her mother, Ethel Bennett Perry; and grandparents, the Rev. George and Viola Ray.
