Grad Jury indicts man in child's rape

An Iberville Parish grand jury on Monday indicted Roger James, 45, of 8314 Kell Avenue, Baton Rouge, on an aggravated rape charge stemming from a 2005 case, according to Brett Stassi, administrator of the District Attorney's Office.

The Plaquemine Police, who arrested James, charged him with aggravated rape because the victim was under age 13, Stassi said.
