Multiple charges filed against man in teen sex case

The Plaquemine Police on Friday arrested a Plaquemine man on multiple sexual charges based their investigation of a complaint filed by a 16-year-old girl, Capt. Steve Bezet said.

Barry Rafflee Jr., 31, of 23160 Wilbert Street, was booked on 10 counts each of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile, indecent behavior with a juvenile and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, Bezet said.

All the charges involved the girl who made the complaint, the captain said. He said the police found the incidents had occurred since April at a Plaquemine residence.

The police are continuing to investigate with other agencies, and further charges are pending involving the same juvenile, Bezet said.
