Highway department continues I-10 lane closure

The inside lane of I-10 Eastbound at Ramah will be closed again from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday (August 15-18) while crews inspect the bridge there, according to the state highway department.

The Department of Transportation and Development closed the lanes last week to oversized traffic a week ago. Vehicles up to 12-feet wide will be allowed to pass through the construction zone. The alternate route for other vehicles is I-46 North to U. S. 190 East to La. 415 South.
