Belleview closed Monday for railroad track repairs

Belleview Road (La. 75) will be closed to all traffic from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday (September 12) at the Union Pacific Railroad Crossing just west of the intersection of Belleview and La. 1 for the railroad company to make repairs.

The state Department of Transportation and Development said in a news release that the detour route for eastbound traffic will be La 75 west  to La. 992-3 (Tenant Road) to La 1.  Westbound traffic will detour on La 1 south to 992-3 (Tenant Road) to La 75.

All permit loads and vehicles towing oversize cargo will have to use alternate routes.
