Weekend Forecast: Football weather

Clear skies, warm afternoon temperatures and perfect football weather are in the forecast for this weekend.

No rain is expected for the next five days.

Daytime highs Friday should reach the mid 80s, while overnight lows will drop to 60 degrees.

Winds during the daytime will be from the Northeast at 6 mph, and will shift to the ENE at 2 mph tonight.

The warming trend continues Saturday with highs in the upper 80s and overnight lows in the low to mid 60s.

Temperatures return to the 90s Sunday under mainly sunny skies, with a low of  67.

The daytime highs will remain in the low 90s throughout most of the week, with a slight cooling trend Thursday.

Only a slight chance of rain is expected for late next week
