Weekend weather in Iberville: Autumn is back

At last, autumn weather has returned.

Milder temperatures ushered in this weekend, as the overnight low dipped to 60 degrees – and Iberville and its surrounding areas can expect more of the same for the next couple of days.

A weak cold front Thursday brought south Louisiana drier air and more seasonal temperatures. The high temperature for today (Friday) will reach the low to mid 80s.

For high school football tonight, game time temperatures will be in the lower 70s, and should dip 5 to 10 degrees by the end of the evening.

Temperatures will stay within the current range throughout the weekend. No rain is in the forecast.

A gradual warming trend will bring temperatures to the upper 80s by Monday. The chance of rain Monday is 30 percent.
