Friday Forecast: At last! Autumn temperatures

Cooler temperatures and brisk northerly winds are in the forecast for the weekend.

As a cool front finishes its way through the area, highs will reach only the mid 80s today. Winds will be from the north at 17 mph.

No rain is expected throughout the weekend.

“Football Weather” will prevail tonight with game-time temperatures in the upper 60s and dipping into the 50s by game’s end. Overnight low tonight is 52.

High for Saturday top off at 80, while lows could dip into the upper 40s.

Winds will be from the NNE at 11 mph.

Sunday’s high will reach the upper 70s, with a low near 50.

The same pattern will continue with highs in the low 80s throughout the week.
