THURSDAY/FRIDAY WEATHER ... Temperatures drop, rain continues

If you've just walked outside for the first time in a little over an hour, you've probably noticed a substantial drop in temperatures.

Temperatures dropped from 73 degrees at 8:30 a.m. to 55 by 9:15. The mercury will only trickle upward slightly during the day, coupled with a stronger wind -- between 15 and 20 mph -- blowing from the north-northwest.

The rain will move out by the evneing hours, bringing partly cloudy skies and cooler temperatures. Lows will drop to the mid 40s, with a northerly wind of around 8 mph.

Rain will end but cloudys will remain Wednesday, along with slightly cooler temperatures. Day time highs will reach the mid 60s, while lows will dip to thbe mid 50s.

Expect a cool, clear Friday. Highs will be in the lower 60s, with overnight lows in the mid 40s.

Shwoers return to the picture for what could be a wet Christmas weekend.

Christmas Eve will brings highs around 54. For the Christmas Eve church services and midngiht Mass at St. John the Evangelist, expect temperatures in the low to mid 40s.

Expect a wet rather than white Chrsitmas. Rain stays in the forecast. Highs will be in the low to mid 50s, with lows around 40. 

Sunny skies return for Monday, with highs in the mid 50s and lows near freezing.
