CHRISTMAS WEEKEND WEATHER: Are you dreaming of a Wet Christmas?

Iberville Pairsh won't see a white Christmas, but a wet one is likely.

For Christmas Eve, expect a daytime high of 62 amid morning clouds and patches of sunshine in the afternoon hours. Only a 20 percent chance of rain is expcted, with northeasterly winds at 10 mph.

For the Christmas Eve church celebrations and the arrival of Santa, a 50 percent chance of rain is in the forecast. Overnight lows will drop into the mid 40s.

Rain continues Christmas Day with considerable cloudiness and a high in the lower 60s. A 50 percent chance of percipitation is expected, with a low of 51.

For Monday, it's more rain on the slow-moving low pressure system. Highs will be 60 and lows near 40, with a 50 percent chance of rain.

Skies become clear Tuesday, with a high near 59 nd low of 36. For Wednesday, temperatures will reach the mid 60s, with lows in the mid 40s.
