Plaquemine City Police are seeking arrest of a group of vandals who shot holes through the windows of sever businesses late Thursday or nearly Wednesday.

As many as 10 area businesses were hit during the spree. The businesses included LeBlanc’s Supermarket, Stage, Tractor Supply Co., Sherwin Williams and the abandoned River West Medical Center.

Police Chief Orian Gulotta believes the vandalism may have been the work of juveniles using BB guns.

The suspects could face charges of damage to property. If the suspects are juveniles, the parents could face charges, as well.

Anyone with information on the suspects can call the Plaquemine Police Department at (225) 687-9273.
