WEDNESDAY WEATHER ... Cool and sunny

Skies will become clear today and the mercury will plummet.

Rain has moved out the area, bringing with it cooler temperatures for this Wednesday.

Daytime highs will reach the mid to upper 60s, while overnight lows will drop just below 50.

Only a 10 percent chance of rain is expected today.

Much colder air will push its way into the area by tomorrow. Highs will only reach the low to mid 50s, under very windy conditions, while overnight lows will plunge into the mid to upper 20s.

Expect brisk northwesterly winds that could reach 20 mph.         

The cold temperatures continue Friday, with highs barely above 50 degrees. Lows will drop just below freezing.

Highs Saturday will inch toward 60, while lows will dip into the mid 30s.

Milder temperatures close out the weekend, with daytime highs Sunday in the mid 60s and lows in the mid 40s.

No rain is expected until next week.
