DOTD to hold meet on Addis intersection

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) will discuss the upcoming intersection improvements at the LA 1/Sugar Plantation Parkway intersection with Addis residents at an open house from 6-7:30 p.m. January 25 at the Addis YMCA, 3688 Sugar Plantation Parkway.

This project plan is to re-design the dangerous intersection with J-turns that will improve safety and help traffic flow. Additionally, the movement of the J-turns reduces the likelihood of crashes, especially severe crashes such as side-collisions.
