MONDAY'S FORECAST ... Don't let the sunshine fool you

The return of sunshine may be shortlived in Iberville Parish.

Mostly clear skies will prevail for the rest of Monday, with highs in the mid to upper 70s and lows in the mid 50s.

A much different picture makes up the Tuesday forecast. An 80 percent chance of thunderstorms, some locally heavy, is expected, with daytime highs in the mid 60s and lows in the upper 50s.

The warm temperatures return Wednesday, with highs in the mid 70s. Lows will only drop into the lower 60s.

Once more, rain returns as a cold front pushes into the area. Highs will reach the mid 60s and lows will drop to around 50. The chance of rain is 70 percent.

A clear, sunny weekend is expected for Iberville Parish. Highs will be in the low to mid 60s Friday through Sunday, with lows in the upper 30s.

No rain is expected.
