The West Baton Rouge Museum has many ongoing and upcoming events this month through March starting with "The Ladies of Lincoln's Era" through March 4, "Life and Lanscapes along Louisiana Highway #1" through March 11. February 12 "The Resurrection of the General Harriet Tubman" will be performed by nationally acclaimed actress, playwright, and storyteller Melissa Waddy Thibodeaux. February 16 will bring art historian Pat Bacot to the museum for a lunchtime lecture on "Furnishing Louisiana: Creole and Acadian Furniture". Also on February 25 we will show in honor of Black History Month " The Diary of Miss Jane Pittman" and our new hands-on program designed for the young child "S is for Sugar" will take place.
There is always something for everyone at the West Baton Rouge Museum and we thank you as always for supporting us!
